„Recort“ – that’s Ladin and means “reminiscence”. And it is in memory of the endeavours of a beloved person that a new hotel in the Dolomites arises: Hotel Recort. Featuring some twenty rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a cosy, welcoming spa area, it offers everything that Gottfried - a trailblazer for tourism in Alta Badia - would have loved. A pioneer indeed, as he established the cable car company Impianti Colfosco many years ago while dreaming of this quaint little hotel.

The lounge bar with fireplace is the ideal place to enjoy a herbal tea or, even better, a cocktail. While the tavern with its wine cellar offers the best atmosphere for savouring a fine wine. Just the way Gottfried liked it.
